GreenRE congratulates REHDA Malaysia on attaining Platinum and Super Low Energy (SLE) certification for Wisma REHDA under the Existing Non-Residential Building (ENRB) V3.3 category, a recognition that underscores REHDA’s sustained commitment to exemplary environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
Wisma REHDA’s SLE achievement is the result of targeted, data-driven upgrades to energy performance. Through a combination of high-efficiency systems, improved building management, and 40% annual electricity offset from on-site solar PV, the building now operates at an impressive Building Energy Intensity (BEI) of just 50 kWh/m²/year, significantly lower than typical office buildings in Malaysia.
Beyond energy, Wisma REHDA has implemented comprehensive measures in water conservation, sustainable procurement, waste reduction, and responsible facilities management. These efforts ensure that the building’s performance improvements are not one-off upgrades but part of an integrated, long-term sustainability strategy.
