GreenRE at University of Malaya: Sharing Sustainability Insights with Future Construction Leaders
On 12 November 2025, Senior Manager of GreenRE, Ts. Nur Fateha Jamaluddin, engaged with 3rd-year Quantity Surveying students from the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya.
The session focused on experience sharing in the construction green market and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting the students’ assignment to: Evaluate Bursa Malaysia-listed construction companies using a Sustainability Scorecard. Apply the Triple Bottom Line framework (Environment, Social, Economy) to assess sustainability integration in business operations and long-term strategy. Identify gaps and propose improvements to enhance corporate sustainability.
This interactive session aimed to strengthen students’ critical thinking, reporting skills, and understanding of sustainability in construction, preparing them to become future leaders in sustainable development.
